about the book:
"For a little over two years I lived in downtown LA in a neighborhood where I lived side by side with homeless people. I never shot these intending for them to be some sort of project, but I would always go on strolls with my camera and try to capture whatever I saw. At the time these images didn’t interest me very much. They seemed a little mundane… Just images of what I saw everyday around my block. Now that I’ve moved away though, these people seized to be a part of my life, and looking at these images I realized they are charged with a certain type of energy that you can’t find anywhere else."
